I noticed that both of the OEM headlight plugs are in pretty iffy shape, so I'm looking to just replace them with a new harness. I was going to go with a harness like this one on Amazon, but it has 3 wires vs. the 4 on the OEM. Has anyone else replaced this and tied it into the stock wiring? Do I need to find a harness with 4 wires, or do I wire the single in with the two reds in the photo?

Un tape the split loom. Pull about 6 inches of the wiring out of the split loom to inspect the insulation of the headlight wires. If it’s still flexible without cracking, terminate the wires out of the cavity. Cut the wires back far enough to good insulation and add new wires and connectors. Insert back into cavity. Insert new wires into the split loom and tape the end up. Your choice if you want to solder and heat shrink (better) or solderless connectors (good)

That is my plan, but all the new connectors have 3 wires instead of the 4 that the OEM connector has so I’m trying to figure out that wiring.

Connect the two red/orange stripe wires to the single wire if you’re set on using a repair pigtail.
