Replacement Steering Column Shaft Seal?

Has anyone had any luck finding the steering column firewall boot? They are discontinued now and the options on eBay are pretty tore up already.

The soft rubber on mine has gotten so gummy that it won’t stay put anymore. Maybe a little rtv or weather seal could fix it up.

The oem part number is 55314949 and is #9 on the diagram.

Just outta curiosity have you looked for newer years like 2015? I know it’s a jk but could they have changed them that much for such a comon part use in every vehicle? I’m gonna look in case I ever need one.

Those certainly look similar and I agree you'd think we could find something that was close enough. I think the best option would be to recreate it and 3d print. One of the challenges would be to get the little tab on the inside strong enough.
