If they take the top gun maverick approach and actually just make a good old fashioned movie, maybe it'll be watchable.
If it fits in with Hollywood du jour and tries to subvert expectations, deconstruct heroes, push an agenda, and "put a chick in it and make her gay", then I'll pass.

The new Red Dawn wasn't as good as the first but I enjoyed it.
Well. . . yea. There wasn't any continuity from the original storyline. Dalton didn't, can't, die because pain don't hurt!
Tinker's Revenge plot: Tinker and his former nemesis the polar bear (think Hulk proportions CGI) team up to rampage their monster truck through Daltons Tesla dealership and ethically sourced coffee shop franchises throughout Texas.
