Rotating tires with Beadlock wheels?

Are you supposed to rotate tires if your running beadlock wheels once the outside of wheel becomes scarred from rocks. Does this throw the tire out of balance?
Do you need to balance beadlocks in the first place?

I run four beadlock wheels and I definitely balance them them with the tires mounted on them. I also rotate them in a 4-way patten so the spare on a conventional aluminum wheel stays out of the rotation.

Mine have been balanced and I rotate 5, once a year.
