Rough Idle with AC

2005 Unlimited when running the AC seem to have loss of power and rough idle.
If we stop after running the AC ,say to run in the store, when we try to start the engine it barely runs,and the check engine light flashes and then goes solid. I turn off the Ac and everything runs great and the check engine goes away in a day.
It is to hot here to be running without AC

Grab a scanner and scan for that engine code in the on board diagnostics port by your left knee - see if you can get it to throw the engine code with the scanner or code reader plugged in
