Rubicon Factory Locker Bypass Question

I want to do the Independent Locker Control method where I add two switches, each one grounding either pin 6 or pin 7 on the factory locker switch harness with a light up switch like these: LED switch

How do I go about making them light up when the switch/locker is engaged? Is there a wire in the factory switch harness that I can tap into?

The switches' LEDs are wired internally to use power from whatever is being switched.
However, you are switching a ground ckt., so no power to light the switch.
Additionally, you can't put power to the other side because LEDs are polarity sensitive.
You could use those switches to activate a relay that sends the ground signal to those pins.

Find better switches that have the lighting circuit completely independent from the load being switched.

The dash lights will come on when the axles are locked, just like the stock setup.

That’s what I figured, my wife just has blue accent lights under her dash and asked if her switches could match
