I’m pretty sure you torque the control arms bolts to grade 8 spec, and use a crows foot and a torque wrench at 90 degrees to torque the jam nuts, although most will say just get them as tight as you can. What are the torque specs for the control arm bolts?

I’ve been searching torque tables and have been unable to find that 170 ftlbs value. Do you have a link to the table you’re using?Torque the bolts to spec for a 9/16-18 grade 8 bolt (170ftlbs).
The jam nuts you want to rotate the joints the same direction and get them as tight as you can using a crowsfoot, adjustable wrench, or wrench with a pipe over the end.
I’m pretty sure it’s 129ftlbs if my mill book is still accurate from college. Plated correct? Plain is 172ftlbs.I’ve been searching torque tables and have been unable to find that 170 ftlbs value. Do you have a link to the table you’re using?

Lubrication is approx 20% reduction. So lubricated plain bolt should be approx 137ftlbsWould plated with loctite (lubricated) be the same as plated or less than plated?

Plated with lubrication (locktite or anti seize) would be around 103ftlbs. Personally I wouldn’t use lubrication but some prefer it.What about lubricated plated bolt which is what's included in the kit?

I haven’t seen many zinc-plated bolts seize up (usually rated to x amount of hours salt spray) but I haven’t lived in that area so it’s unknown to me.If you don't use something around here to prevent rust you'll never get it apart again after a few months.

I can imagine the feeling. We get endless rain and moisture here, but it’s unsalted water. Why locktite over antiseize? Better hold? You have never lived until you've snapped a 1/2" gr8 bolt due to being seized with it's nut.
Tight is jumping up on down on the end of a 40" long wrench.Any suggestions on tightening the jam nuts?
Loctite is a thread sealant. Keeps water out. Works more betterer than AS.I can imagine the feeling. We get endless rain and moisture here, but it’s unsalted water. Why locktite over antisieize? Better hold?
My chart says that a Zinc plated bolt in that size would be 150ish with liquid Loctite.Plated with lubrication (locktite or anti seize) would be around 103ftlbs. Personally I wouldn’t use lubrication but some prefer it.
