I don't do it that way. I set it with carrier preload as I set up each time. So if you haven't don't that, then add preload. In my opinion, if you can still add 10 thou, then it might have been too loose during setup. But yeah, get it set.

I Still had to hit it with a dead blow but wanted to make sure its supper tight
