Here's another way to removed them. chop saw

I think when I finally break down and get around to getting a winch bumper, I'll look for a short one. Really helps not having a bumper in your way when wheeling.

Keep in mind that the milk jugs are there for a reason. I T-boned a car once... his fault... the milk jug absorbed the damaged by folding in.

His vehicle was really bashed up... I just needed a new milk jug.

Absolutely, take them off. I actually like the stock TJ bumper once they are gone. I took the other bumper pads off as well.

If I remember correctly, I think they have studs that are embedded into them and the nuts hold them on from the inside of the bumper.

Above comment is correct. You just have to take the nut off from the back side of the bumper.
