Sick and tired of the hard top nuts by the doors

When I had a hardtop I used these.

The nuts were really easy to hold and the slight extrusion at the threads made them easy to line up.

Amen, that's what I switched to, makes a big difference!

I think he means the one up above with the plastic spinner doodad on top so you don't need a wrench.

This is one of those things I will never understand why people have a problem with. You don't take the hardtop off every other day so what's the big issue?

May be our climate here in Utah, but the plastic gets so brittle that those spinner doodads break after only a couple uses.

Park outside? I wouldn't think it'd be much different than Colorado. where I used the same ones from 2017 to 2021, removing and reinstalling the hard top multiple times per year and never broke one. But mine was garaged.
