Has anyone had this? I just put in a new radio with a pull out screen. With the shape of my vents, the screen can’t open all the way so it’s angled down which makes the screen kinda hard to see. Does anyone have some suggestions on what to do? I think I need trim with a little more flat vents that aren’t so rounded like mine is. I tried googling new trim, but all I can seem to find is trim that fits a double din. Thanks for any and all help!

1. Find a different head unit which has a screen that is farther out when deployed?
2. Modify your head unit mount so it sticks a little further out?
I also wouldn’t cut up the vents to make it work.

@Woodrow @IPerkWVU thanks. I’m not super attached to the head unit, when I was shopping for a new one, I was mainly wanting Bluetooth and that specific unit happened to be a good deal. I might just send it back and get a regular single din unit. I’m not too keen about dremmeling anything. And the unit already sticks out quite a bit, any further and I think it will really be in the way.
