Smittybilt Replacement Soft Tops

New to the group and have a question. Has anyone had any first hand experience with the Smittybilt Replacement soft top that is made with the Marine grade durable vinyl coated OEM Fabric? I have hade just about every kind of 4x4 over the years but just recently decided to get back into a Jeep. It has an excellent price, but usually you get what you pay for. I just want to change the color on my Sahara without breaking the bank. Any help would be appreciated.

My smittybilt top was thin, made a lot of noise, the soft uppers leave gaps between the door and windshield frame, the rear window left a hole about the size of a quarter between it and the top of the tailgate, the zippers let in a ton of water.

Go with Bestop.

I have the smittybilt soft top on mine. It was on the Jeep when I bought it a year and a half ago. Still fits nice and tight, my only complaint is the windows scratch super easy. But, I’m guessing that’s an issue on almost all soft tops.

If you can afford it, I highly recommend the Bestop in Twill fabric. It's a heavier fabric than OEM and was even quieter than my hardtop before I insulated it. (Not cheap though)

I've had both SmittyBilt and Bestop soft tops. The Bestop was super durable, withered extreme elements, and was tight and quiet.

This seems to piss some off, but my Smittybilt top has lasted a lot longer than my previous twice as expensive Bestop. It fits tight, looks good and is very affordable. I'll buy another one when I need to.
