So when I bought my TJ I thought it had a 2" body lift only, found out it has a 3" suspension lift and a 1" body lift. It's sitting on 33's. It has 4.56 gears with stock Dana 30/35. Control arms are stock, steering is stock. I just put a set of Rancho RS5000X shocks and steering stabilizer.
After watching a few other threads I'm wondering what has really been done now. Would the PO of the vehicle put a SYE in it? Any way to know? Would it had to have been done with this lift? How do I know if there are 1" motor mounts? Drive shafts?
I've done a lot of small stuff but my first big purchase will be upgrading the axles and then wheeling it with this lift. I just want to make sure that everything that should be done with this size lift has been done.
I just got the Currie Antirock for the front, can I install that with this size lift? I read it should need a 4" lift to run it so I haven't installed it yet but now that I know I have some more lift I'd like to install it. Thinking of getting the Currie steering as well, again, ok to install with this size lift?
Thanks in advance! I need to do some detective work now. Lol
