Too much skinny pedal? Even here in the east I run into steep climbs and have to stop 3/4 of the way up due to lack of traction and the front end gets pretty light. I know to get into reverse asap and back down without much brake. But what is the root cause, lack of wheelbase?

Gas tank, yes. Center and engine most likely. The arms don't look right for the mid arm. Too far inboard and high at the rear frame and that isn't how they interact with the back of the Savvy skid.

Long arm and he never let off the throttle. In fact it seemed to try to accelerate by the sound of the tires.

It lifts the left front tire, slips to the right, just because of the shape of the rocks, perhaps.

Then he hits the gas and turns left trying to keep it from going farther right and rolling sideways?

Lack of seat time in that vehicle, and just seat time offroad in general is how that happens.

I wasn’t sure if hitting the throttle was deliberate or an Oh Shyte reaction. Either way that was what caused the front end to lift.
