Looking back I have had the slight pull for a while now. While troubleshooting some noises a while back(unit bearing) I found the front left brake pads were separating/lifting on the front on the leading and trailing edges. At the time I saw no indication of heat and thought poor pad quality was the cause for separation. Could that be caused by heat/dragging pad?

Shit pad or they are locking in the grooves and the backing plate is getting flexed and that is bad.

They will get fixed tonight or tomorrow after work. Heat gun should tell me if the brake is the source of the left pull.

The only things holding the caliper in place to keep the pads where they go relative to the rotor are two guide sleeves that bolt to the knuckle. They have rubber dust boots that goes through holes in the caliper and then fit over the guide sleeves. They have grease in them. If the dust boots get worn and allow the relatively high weight of the caliper to bounce the pad against the softer iron in the knuckle reaction bars (sliders) it will wear those slots.
