Softest motor / transmission mounts?

2006 LJ, 6 speed 4.0
Long time reader first time poster. Looking for the softest motor and transmission mounts made. I'm not worried about longevity as they're not difficult to change. Have a set of Brown Dog Motor mounts and they are great products for what and where they're designed for, but transfer more vibration into the cab at idle, for stop and go traffic. Yes I followed the directions and the owner even reached out to me personally. GREAT SMALL BUISNESS and awesome customer service! I'll continue using their products on other builds but I'm trying to keep my daily as smooth and quiet as possible! Thanks in advance!

OEM Mopar seems to always be regarded as the best mounts available. The knockoffs seem to be hit or miss. Some people have reported good luck with them and others have terrible vibrations. I've been running the Anchor brand and they have been decent but there are still some vibrations at idle.

Appreciate the quick response. I know after market, off road specific mounts are going to transmit more vibrations into the cab. I understand the importance of a solid connection here. Has anyone experimented with with a thin pad of rubber between the pedestal and the mount or on both sides of the skid plate mount?
I went with the BDa because I had them on the shelf and they provided the 1 inch lift I needed. If I have to, I'll spend the money on Mopar mounts and a spacer. I just don't want to spend money twice.

Absolutely mopar. Had an anchor and it just tickled my butt too much with the vibrations both the trans and engine mounts. Mopar makes the vibes non existent. If cost is too much still stick with oem style and add the aluminum block under. I never heard of putting thin pads under or anything like that.

I have NEVER heard or read the word "superb" used to describe a Jeeps ride or vibrations! In your opinion are the superior to OEM with a spacer or only to other aftermarket motor mounts? Thanks in advance!

Hey! What did you end up going for with the transmission mount? I’m having trouble finding the mopar part (out of stock on their site) and it seems like brown dog and M.O.R.E make motor mounts but not transmission mounts. Thanks!

Yep anchor is the one to use. I cheaped out and grabbed one from oreillys and it rattled my teeth.

I've never heard of it but remember the anchor mount is proven and you will have to pay to return a part to Rock auto

Thanks! I'd love to get a mopar part but I'm dubious of eBay ones and can't get them off of the Mopar site. I ordered both the anchor and the marmon ride control cause they were both under $10 on rock auto. Will get back to you with results!

If you're still looking for motor mounts and can't find authentic Mopar, go with the Bombproof motor mounts at https://mountainoffroad.com/collect...-mount-kit-yj-tj-lj-xj?variant=14539007295599

They use a top grade rubber bushing that will dampen vibrations as well as Mopars will. If you want the 1" taller mounts aka motor mount lifts just place an L after the standard mount's part number.
