That might make it worth the watch, the JP KO’d part

The end of the NFL season marks 'firing' day for many of the horrible performing teams. So far:
Pete Carol (Raiders)
Gannon (Cardinals)
Stefanski (Browns)
Morris (Falcons)
I'm sure there will be more to come. Some after teams get eliminated in the wild card games next weekend. The tradition seems to be that the front office tends to blame the coach for their poor financial decisions (not signing enough good players).
At least two of those teams haven't amounted to much in ages (if ever) - hard to blame the coach with systemic issues like the Raiders have and even worse, the Browns. It would suck to get drafted as a QB or any of the "skill positions" to any of those franchises.

NIL has really impacted college ball, I'd think largely in a negative way. Between the transfers and the ability to make way more money in college than a rookie in the NFL.
Add John Harbaugh to the list of fired coaches. This one was a shocker to me. Sounds like another millionare owner trying to blame the coach. Of the available coaches, do they think they can do better?
Per the article, "Harbaugh now becomes the hottest name in the coaching market if he decides to return to the sideline for the 2026 season."
In one of the reports I heard, he's being blown up from teams that are interested. I believe it was 5+ teams.

Negative depends on the way you look at it. Teams were always paying players. Some were just better than others at it. Nice to see some non SEC teams now in the mix with good talent. It changes the building of a team dynamic for sure. But as the consumer, its not my problem and there are still teams playing quality football. The only issue is they're just kids. Most of whom have parents who don't have a background or experience with finances. The money is going to kill a lot of them.
A problem for who though? The universities and coaches making millions of dollars? Its still quality football being played on the field while the kids are maxing out the money they can make and their p[laying oppurtunity. Now, unfortunately it does mean gone are the days of seeing kids ride out a single school for four years so the fans lose out on that for their favorite team. But as we have seen this year, it has evened out the playing field a bit and hopefully we are no longer seeing the same 4 or 5 teams run everything.
