@mrblaine Thank you for the explanation....I can live with that! I suppose if I am to apply the panel adhesive I will be using a brush anyway to spread the material around. If I brush some on the bare metal drill holes while I'm at it, it would accomplish the same thing as dipping the rivets, just in a less messy way. I'm on board.
@P man What worries me about weld-thru primer is the panel gap between the welds. Even if I apply seam sealer on the outside seam it seems like there is a bunch of space in between the welds that is dying to trap moisture
