Standard vs Rubicon Dana 44

So I've been scrolling through the search feature and not finding what I need. If I buy a rear 44 out of a 06 Rubicon, and eventually have to change out gears or locker, is there anything I need to know? It seems like I remember reading that the housings are different vs standard 44's and that I'd have issues finding aftermarket gears and/or lockers for it? Can someone please set things straight... Thanks!

The only difference I remember is that the Rubicon 44 carrier has no case break. It uses the same carrier for all gears and utilizes a "thick" ring gear to compensate for the differences.
