Because that isn't true. Some of the later years have the larger bar. Like I stated and you keep ignoring, this problem is a miniscule segment of the installs. I've done at least a 100 installs myself and only encountered it 1 1/2 times. The 1/2 is because I just put the new V bar in one that had the small bar otherwise I would have used some rubber fuel line and went on about my business. If I put that you need to check the bar diameter before ordering to see if you can use it, then I'll spend an inordinate amount of time dealing with scaring folks with a possible non fitment. Sadly, it is more desirable to deal with 1 asshole out of all the customer for one that didn't fit than deal with 100's worried about whether it will.
And again since it bears repetition, the other 4 just said, oh, I've got some hose, that will work, thanks.
Because it is far easier and less time consuming to deal with one sad little person than a 100 that need hand holding to figure out how to measure a V bar. Unless you've worked on both, it isn't immediately obvious they are different sizes. And, we still don't know exactly what and when the cut off is for the 2 sizes.
Dealing with the rotor hat difference that split in 99, I well know how this goes.
Just so we all stay on the same page, he was trying to make a trip and doing the install for that, at no point in time were the parts not going to be installed which made the refund upon his return home and used parts sent back more than a bit complicated.
BS. Parts weren’t used when I called. I said they didn’t fit the tube, you didn’t care, I didn't like your hack fix and moved on and made my own mount for the cooler. I never asked to return them after the trip. You’re making shit up. Our conversation was short and simple, Ill never make another purchase from you because of it.
