Just changing out steering stabilizer, new to jeeps. 2001 TJ. 3" lift,1" body lift. When I put the bolt through the hole in the bar , the angle is wrong. Looks like the axle side mount is too low. Is there a bracket that raises up that mount to correct that angle?

Post pictures so we can see what you're talking about. No bracket should be necessary whatsoever.
Here are some pics of the stabilizer issue. I could pull it down and get it in the mount, but would put allot of stress on the shock. I was told it does not have a drop pitman arm ? But it seems a short arm would correct that angle. I appreciate the help and wisdom of any of you on the forum. Thanks

You definitely have a drop pitman arm.
You just need to stick the steering stabilizer into the bracket. Leave the nut loos until you get the bolt through.

Yep, get rid of that drop pitman arm (which is a huge no-no anyways) and your steering stabilizer should fit just fine.
Also, remove that plastic boot on the steering stabilizer. It's interfering, and those things do more harm than good anyways.

Alright! Thats the info I was really looking for. New jeep to me, and the old owner said it didn't have a drop pittman.
2 quick questions, where to find a stock pittman arm, dealer only part or just look online somewhere?
Will I need an alignment again after I change that out. Just had it done last week .

I would, but it's super simple since all that can be adjusted is the toe. There's a how-to in that section.
