What is the official color code of our steering wheels? Also, what color would you say it is? Black; grey; charcoal; agate?

My interior is agate and my steering wheel is slightly faded and is in between grey and agate. I found these online that seem to follow the suit too.

NO. I tried that, and I can tell you for sure that Landau Black is *not* the best match.

The correct color is AGATE. Agate is quite a bit different than Landau Black.
Landau black is the closest match for all the agate interior pieces. Dash, door panels, console etc.

Are you talking about the center of the steering wheel?

I strongly disagree with you.

Landau black is much darker than Agate. If you see them side by side, it is very clear. Chrysler Agate is a very unique shade of gray, whereas SEM Landau Black is a soft black.

The steering wheel, dash bezel, center stack bezel, HVAC vents, door pulls, and seat belts are all Agate - at least on the earlier model TJs.

However, some interior pieces ARE black, and the SEM Landau Black *IS* match for those. These pieces include: turn signal stalk, headlight knob, cruise control buttons, interior door locks, transmission bezel and handle, emergency brake lever, and 4wd lever.

Here is a post I made earlier about this same subject:
