Strange rattling noise when letting off the accelerator in gear

As the title says, I've got a weird rattle (but no shake) when letting off the gas while im in gear, this only happens under about 30 mph and 2end gear.

Also on a side note my reverse gear doesn't seem to want to "click" in sometimes and it just ends up grinding unless I push it in
id appreciate any advice regarding these issues

Could be your catalytic convertors coming apart inside. Mine was making a similar noise and it turned out my cats were falling apart inside.

I am throwing a code: all of my O2 sensors but I've heard that is likely a wiring issue.

If you're throwing an O2 related code, then it makes even more sense this is your cats going bad. That could be triggering the O2 sensor codes for sure.

The codes went away and the cats checked out to be fine. I think I may have a short somewhere along the o2 sensors.

That's definitely possible. Sometimes those wires can get a short in them due to exposed wire, usually from rubbing on something.
