Swapping Poison Spyder to Savvy Sliders

I have a set of Savvy control arms in the garage and am waiting on the skid to come back in stock myself! ;)
The jcr sliders are OK. They have a brace under the seat but not a true ww2ww. I regret drilling holes all the way through the floor to mount them and their instructions could use some tweaking IMO and use nutserts instead. It could also use a few more fasteners.

Holes on the side of the tub? There are 5. I see zero holes on the bottom of the PS. I'll be crawling around under there some more. Could be I'm overlooking something.
There aren't any under the tub for the Poison Spyder sliders. But you were asking if any of the hole line up and the answer is NO. Some of them touch the edge of one or two but that is it.

I have the dreaded Metal Cloak corners and none of their holes matched my Poison Spyder corner holes.

I won't quote you on that when they go on Facebook Marketplace..
Doesn't matter, the rabid fanbois have literally said "yeah, so what?" when I posted up this pic and asked why even bother with the body mounts, just weld that bitch to the frame.

I always said when they came back in stock I would swap them out and put my current sliders on marketplace. Mainly because I like the savvy design better and the arguably better protection. Plus no giant company logo. At least the JCR's aren't tied into the body mount like those spider ones.

Yup, I mentioned the shortcomings of the PS to a local TJ buddy with the same sliders and he says, "They're fine for what we do". He's right for the most part but he's off to Moab in April (not with you guys) so I hope he doesn't prove me (you) correct. I can see ugliness if things go sideways.

The protection increase is not really arguable.

Go look at all the holes I had to weld closed on my TJ before I added the Savvy sliders. I had Poison Spyder sliders before. I can't tell you the exact page right now but can go look in a while.
I'm going to try to dig that up. Is welding the only acceptable option to fill those holes? Were they visible after the Savvy went on?

Honestly, no.

It would require new mounting holes in both the bottom of the tub and the PS sliders. Probably not a big deal. The body mounts are all there is underneath on the PS.

Yeah I would copy the savvy bolt locations on the bottom and drill some holes, use nutserts in the torque box. Seems like that should turn the PS sliders into something more decent.
