Great timing! I was already going to do this exact trail this Sunday with some non-Jeep newbie wheelers. Unfortunately, I have something early Sunday I need to do first so the timing won't work.
I'm definitely in on the next AZ trip. Hopefully have new fenders and bumper installed by then.

I'm in. I'm coming up from Tucson so I'm going to grab a hotel room Saturday night and be rested and ready to go!
LJ soft top on FB for $50. Just 1/2 hour north of Table Mesa. Might be worth $50 in just hardware.

I finally got around to getting the jeep out of "storage". .... fixed the pesky lower radiator hose. Filled it up with the finest circle K 87 octane gas. Took her for a toot around town. Now to spend the rest of the day watching for that coolant leak to make sure it is gone.
Things worked out for me this time so I’ll see you guys tomorrow!

As the first picture shows, early on, I don't think any of us saw much of the trail ahead of us.
Being able to see over the hill you're cresting is overrated
