Tail Light Wiring Issue

Looking to see if anyone has any advice for me to try before taking her to a shop.

My 06 Wrangler is having some strange wiring issues that I can’t seem to trace. They’re bipolar and sometimes work but it’s not often. When my headlights are off or on, both turn signals activate the tire brake light, both tail lights, and both reverse lights, all flashing at different times. When the right turn signal is on it does the same thing, but when I press the brake, all lights stop flashing and just stay lit up.

I have changed the multifunction switch and it fixed the problem for about 3 days before it started up again. I don’t know if it’s a crazy coincidence but I’ve also noticed that when it’s wet out the lights seem to work correctly more often. Could it be a bad ground? If so what ground am I chasing? Any tips or ideas are good ideas. Thanks in advance!

Someone was just mentioning that the polarity to the turn signals reversed when the headlight switch was turned on...

Absolutely it could be a grounding issue.
Check as many as possible; remove, clean, and reattach.
The headlights have a wire that screws to the radiator support.
IIRC, the turn signal grounds are there also.
The taillights ground to the body with their mounting screws.
Also, reseat all plugs and check bulbs for corrosion.

Just an idea. What about removing 1 bulb at a time to see if, when removed, every other bulb works ok.

I recently had an odd issue where the actual plug by turn signal bulb plugged into was shorting out.
