Tailgate seal

Every tailgate seal I buy is way too thick. I’m wondering if I have to go to dealer and get ripped off
The tailgate won’t shut all the way with all the ones I’ve tried.
Any seal that’s recommend

I bought one from a dealership and have the same problem you have. The tailgate fits snuggly and doesn't leak but I'm not happy with the body fit.

Not trying to insult your abilities, but you know the nader bolt mount as well as the hinges have some adjustment to them....maybe the seal you have can work?......
