Tapered Tie Rod insert?

My dana 30 knuckle has an expanded tapered hole for the tie rod. I have to use washers to raise the nut to tighten to specs. This also crushes the grease boot causing grease to leak out.

I have HD stock-style steering and trying to avoid buying another knuckle. Is there a tapered insert that will return the expended tapered hole to original size?

You could use something like this, it's designed for flipping your tie rod end but there's no reason it could not be used to repair your taper.

That would work and it's a very good mod. Just know that also requires that the driver's side lower antiswaybar link be relocated which would require a little welding.
