The few times I've ridden in the passenger seat I did not feel as comfortable as in the driver seat.
No steering wheel to hang on to.
Also, it feels higher. Maybe the seat foam is less worn.
Mostly, not being in control.

This also applies to the back seat.
Don't assume it's as comfortable as the front till you've ridden back there.
