This sat for 6 years in my neighbours yard but did not look this good. After asking over the years to buy it she just gave it to me. Lots of work and a few parts later this 2002 TJ is looking good. 4.0 engine 5 speed and all original. It’s going to stay that way.

I'm gonna go a similar route until my "blow on whatever I want fund" fills back up again. Start chatting them up about it whenever I see them out in the yard and so on.

2 houses down from me on the corner. It's been in that same spot since we moved into this house 2 years ago, flat tire and all. I contemplate knocking on the door and asking what they'll take for it. Haha.

I'll give you $5 to offer them $150 for me.

Looks like it might be a case of unrealistic expectations. I've see more than one vehicle killed via the "I'll let it rot before I sell it for less" mindset.

Or they are like me and if they don't get what it is worth, it goes in the trash. I have a basically new MK tile saw. I like good saws so when I did some tile work I bought a good one for 1300. I used it for 35 cuts and decided I was done with tile work so it is for sale. My price is 900. If I don't get 900, I'll cut it up and throw it in the scrap pile. 400 is fair rental for that many cuts.
