So I have a buddy with a 2006 Rubicon Unlimited and he put it in 4wd low and then couldnt get back out of 4wd low but it still drove fine in 4wd low.
We were going to drain and replace the fluid to see if it would help get it out of 4wd. We went to drain the fluid and it was empty...literally just a few oz of water came out.
Now I'm worried if we put fluid in it and get it out of 4wd, due to damage that may already be caused, I'm afraid it may just explode the case (which I've seen happen).
Makes me think it may be better for the sake of caution to just pull it on out and have it rebuilt before it locks up and slings apart.
Anyone have some educated thoughts on the matter?
