What are you looking at for a welder? I'm gonna go with a Miller. Forgot what model it is, but it has a plug adapter-thingy that let's you switch between 220 and 110.

We have Millers and plasma cutters at the shop at work so I went with a cheapo Chicago Electric 170 amps flux welder from harbor freight on sell for $170. I think it will do fine for the stuff around the house.
If I had the options available to me that you have, I wouldn't bother spending the coin on a brand name welder, either. Save the $$ for other "necessities"...

Had a little time to get this cargo carrier idea off the ground
Rear original bumper, grounded the old hookups off
Cut some pipe
Some ideas are working, some are not but the basic frame
Maybe extend it a little
Will cut the middle bars off of the top ones, connect the bottom

Got the new seal kit on this am!
Looking at all the steering components and it’s about time for new drag link also ( I have the zj tie rod) so.... more parts to order !
