Hello. New to me ‘04 Rubicon came with 33” tires which run the front sway bar before full lock. There is a 1” body lift. As far as I know, the rest of the suspension is stock - front springs measure 11”. What are the options to resolve the tire interference? Thanks!

Your springs are currently 1" under stock lenght, most likely due to sag but with you BL the fenders are stock height. 33's are just to big for that setup without rubbing as you know. Choice 1 You could adjust the steering stops to take care of the rubbing, but your turning radius is going to suck. Choice 2 go to 31's, I ran them for years all over SW Colorado and Moab. Choice 3 get a 3" lift and with the 1 body lift you have should fit the 33's but this option can get expensive pretty quick.

Add wheel spacers to reduce the rubbing while turning. Add a bunch of bump stop extension to keep the tires from crashing through the fenders.

Google suggested spring spacers?? Is this a valid option. Just want a workable fix to improve drivability until I can get to the suspension upgrade.

Spring spacers are generally fine up to a point. Keep in mind that the total stacked height of the spring and spacer needs to be at least 14" front, 10" rear. That's a lot is spacer which could lead to coil bind and excessive bump stop requirements. And you will need longer shocks to better fit the new ride height.

You can get away with using spacers as long as you keep to the pavement or mild off road. You will still need to adjust your toe-in for any type of suspension lift. And the above post is a good guide to follow.
