TJs in beautiful places

I love all of your food pics :D

What is this because it looks amazing.

Thanks...This was a crispy chicken burger with bacon...(cuz everything tastes better with bacon haha ) with some Kumara chips (sweet potato fries) and sour cream.
It was very very filling let me tell ya.

Tried to catch the sunrise this morning and it wasn't as colorfull as I hoped, but still a good time!

Including bacon. :geek:

Fair enough, but can you make blood pudding sound appetizing? :sneaky:

I see you purchased the optional hands-free phone kit. :D

I’ve had blood pudding or black pudding… not the best tasting thing I’ve tried… no amount of ketchup can make it taste better 😂😂

There are some things that make you wonder who in the past thought to themselves, "I think that might taste good..."

Last night we went to a local restaurant and there's an Indian restaurant in the same venue.

As soon as we got out of the truck we were assaulted by the smell of curry (which I can't stand).

It reminded me of a comment by Joe Machi on Gutfeld about when he was on the New York subway.

Someone got on the train eating Indian food.

It was so bad that the guy pooping paused and said "What is that terrible smell?"

The constant smell of curry was one of the worst parts of the really poor neighborhoods I lived in in college 🤢

Gutfeld is the only show I watch with any regularity.

I place his comedic panelists into 3 categories:

A+: Joe Machi and Jamie Lissow. Almost always guaranteed to be some very funny and witty commentary.

A: Joe DeVito and Michael Loftus. Pretty good with the occasional real zinger.

B+: Everybody else.

Not really a comedian but the raw unfiltered commentary from Dagan McDowell can be quite good too.

First real drive after buying my ‘05, and only outdoor pic for now. Not beautiful but oh well.

Parked at the airport for 2 weeks while I’m away for work. I’ll take an after pic when I get back today or tomorrow hopefully. Should be a little more snow. We’ll see.

And btw, I love blood pudding. Mmmmm!

"Chateau Rotary" A-branch, Powell River. There is a scattered collection of volunteer built/volunteer maintained cabins spread throughout the coastal mountain range behind Powell River. Most of them are connected by the somewhat famous "Sunshine Coast Trail". A select few have road access directly to them (depending on snowpack) ⤵️

Scenic viewpoint up a logging road called Cyprus Main (aptly named due to the abundance of yellow cedar a.k.a cyprus that grows above 2000ft elevation) taken on a group trip up Powell Lake (not to be confused with Lake Powell in Arizona)⤵️

Anderson Bay, Texada Island. The southernmost bay accessible on this island by road. Photo taken on my buddy's expensive camera⤵️

Sunset Wheelers group ride. Pictured below is Dodd Lake, one of the many dozens of lakes behind Powell river. This spot is a great place to stop for lunch with a view.

"The High Road" as locals call it. On our way down to Anderson Bay. Off in the distance across the water is Madeira Park on the lower sunshine coast. ⤵️

The last technical "squeeze" and/or obstacle on the route into Theodosia Valley. Pictured here is a quick "out-of-the-window" shot of me going back out the trail after a full day exploring. It may not seem that bad but front driver is only half on the trail while the other half hangs over an 8ft deep hole excavated by a machine when this roadblock was build two years ago. There is only one way in/out of this expansive area. In the past there have been vandals who have damaged machinery and the local land owner has put up roadblocks such as this one to prevent access. I plan on building a second trail to access this area but it will be dependent on snow level and terrain challenges since my planned route will be up over a 3000ft mountain range. ⤵️
