It’s one of those bad but good movies…I missed the "Rubihara" movie.I did watch 15 minutes of this bad movie though.

Yes, I sold it a couple of months ago actually. My wife and I have been sharing a car...shes happy I finally have this thing lol.Did you already sell the TJR? Don't know how I missed this the first time but I went through this last year and did it while keeping most of the mods I had put so much money and time into. The build threads linked in my signature tell the story.
That's priority 1 on the build list!Time for bigger tires and better shocks.![]()
I'm a big Clive Cussler fan, but both of his books that have been made into movies kinda sucked. Sahara was better than Raise the Titanic, though. It’s one of those bad but good movies…

The film was shot in 2003 on-location in Morocco as well as in the United Kingdom. It became notable for its many production issues, including doubling its production budget from $80 million to $160 million, lawsuits among the crew, and being accused of several violations of international law. Sahara grossed $119 million worldwide at the box-office, ultimately failing to recoup all of its costs and is often listed among the biggest box-office failures of all-time.And in Sahara they completely miscast Al…
Interesting and impressive to see that the all time classic recipe of a shitless Matthew Mcconaughey could fail. The film was shot in 2003 on-location in Morocco as well as in the United Kingdom. I enjoyed the conversation about the LJ, I just picked up a good shape LJ upstate NY over Thanksgiving, it is an automatic so I am curious about the "PCM" problem I heard discussed in this thread
Thanks

'06What year is it.
Woo Hoo!What year is it. The PCM issues are most prevalent in 05-06 model years with an automatic transmission. So if you were lucky enough to get an 04 you are good.
Welcome to the forum, Woodmaster. Given that it's from Upstate, how is the frame?I enjoyed the conversation about the LJ, I just picked up a good shape LJ upstate NY over Thanksgiving, it is an automatic so I am curious about the "PCM" problem I heard discussed in this thread

Congratulations and welcome! Lots of great info on this site. I picked up an lj in late 2019 and this site has been great source as I modify and maintain it to suit my needs. FWIW for anyone still on the fence about lj vs tj. I really enjoy the trunk space for wheeling and camping with the kids. Wheelbase helps for the east coast wheeling I primarily do and ride is a bit nicer than the standard tj. IMO. The primary reason for switching to an lj from a dedicated toyota rock crawler.

They are mce 4.5 flares. What fender flares are those?
I had a good chat with @mrblaine on LJ vs TJ a little while ago. My conclusion was that LJ .. even with the extra space is pretty really much a two person vehicle. The extra space is nice .. but as the saying goes, more space makes it easier to carry more junk
I do think a properly built LJ with 35s looks really nice and proportional.
