Track bar question

Not sure if i asked the question i had in the right place, it was the lift thread . Any help will be awesome. I put a Rotten Country 3.25 lift on , drilled hole for front track bar perfectly,now passenger tires sticking out about one and a half to two inches. If i put the track bar back to stock local will this help? Can this damage anything if I run it like that for a little while till i figure out what adjustable track bar will be a direct fit ? Any and all help will be greatly appreciated.Thanks

You won't damage anything at all, your axle will just be off center laterally, but again, that won't cause any damage.

Rough Country is known for some pretty shoddy quality, so this isn't surprising. My advice is to get an adjustable track bar in there so that you can adjust the axle to where it needs to be. Currie makes my favorite track bar for the TJ hands down. I've also used a IRO adjustable track bar and a JKS. Both of those work great as well, the Currie just has the most clearance of all of them.

Metalcloak is also another option at a really good price. It's beefy as heck.

Like mentioned above, get yourself adjustable track bars to center those axles.

I am absolutely going with adjustable tracks, is it me or does the bolt at the rear side fit a little loose? I figured it to be no movement at all, the bolt was barley marked when i removed it and the hole the directions said to make is identical. Do the new adjustables come with newer heavier bolts ? I know a lot of dumb questions but my family rides in this jeep too ,track bar failing can be deadly.Thank you Chris and Ahorgi very much for your input and advice

I can't comment on how your track bar fits (or if the bolt fits a little loose), only because I've never seen a Rough Country track bar in person, nor have I see how they are mounted. You may want to take some photos though, that might help!

the stock one was identical , track bars already in so pictures wont help, think im just being paranoid . If i were to design it the bolt would be a bit larger, lol thanks again . I will get some pics if it ever stops raining

Sounds like you might just be paranoid. If it makes noise when you turn the steering wheel while sitting at a dead stop, then you'll know something is going on.

My metalcloak bar came with big bolts (9/16 axle side, 5/8 frame side).

Budgets tight,Im not working right now ,dealing with a illness right now, my better half has been a saint with me and the jeep.Going with the front first being the back is perfect

Let me advise you that once you go with Metalcloak then there's no going back to stock (not that you'd want to, LOL). Just a FYI.
