Has anyone tried trimming the bushwacker pocket style fender flares on a tj? I'll be swapping mine out soon for stock style so I might give it a shot. Nothing to lose but would love to see any pics if someone has tried this

The people that used to have them, easily trimmed them on any tree branch that they hit. They live up to the BushCracker name.

IDK mine have survived the mall parking lots around here.
I know I am in the minority here, but I like the old school look on a TJ.
Well I trimmed them. Since they are getting replaced eventually I figured nothing to lose. I also sold some tires to a guy that has a 98 tj with the same fender flares and he trimmed them so I was able to see what it was going to look like. I say better than before. This will work until the stock ones go on.
I really didn’t think there was anyway pocket flares could look worse.wow,a whole new level.
