I've read nothing but good about Tuffy center consoles security, but I'm curious about the functionality of the armrest. The padded portion looks pretty short in the pictures. Is it long enough to comfortably rest your arm there for extended periods?

I had one in a YJ. If it was mounted on the floor, the arm rest was too low to be comfortable for me to use (I'm 6'1"). So I had spacers under it to raise it up a bit. It worked great in the end.

The arm rest works perfect for me. One of the main reasons that I got it. Mine had no center console and used ones were so costly I figured secure storage was a bonus. Wish I hadn't waited so long to get it. I'm 6'3" and its plenty long for me.

I installed mine last month and have absolutely ZERO complaints about the arm rest. In fact I have ZERO complaints about the entire center console. VERY impressed with the build quality and their product. Their keys are rock solid and the whole console, once constructed, is as solid as they come. When I first opened the box and all the pieces were laying around I was curious how I would like the final product, but I LOVE my console and very glad I went with it. Next up for me - their glove box lid!

I am looking at the center console inner section, the inside of my console is broke but the outside is in good shape, it is cheaper than buying a different console. Tim

You can't go wrong with Tuffy Products. I have several that are all keyed alike.

I fully recommend the tuffy console insert and glovebox, you get to keep the original look if you still have the console in decent shape and the install process is not difficult; and I also recommend you search for the glovebox light install thread around here so you light your stuff and save some time if you intend to install lights after the console.

Will it work with a factory sub woofer?
