Just purchased 02’ TJ Sport, 4.0, Automatic, 95k miles, bone stock except bigger tires (32x11.5x15BFG AT)
The Jeep shifted late and hard and had a P0122 code so I replaced the TPS and while doing so noticed the TV cable end was broken at throttle body side. Ordered a Shapeways replacement part from one of your forums. Slid under drivers side and cable was popped off and out of place. TV Cable bracket looked bent and the cable was at an extreme angle. Removed the bracket and bent it to what I believe to be correct. It seems like there isn’t enough travel in the TV cable to fully cycle from idle to full throttle with two of us observing both ends.
Thank you in advance for the help. Can’t wait to start upgrading the Jeep but need to sort out the basics first!
