Unknown wire harness

I thought the blank harness was for overdrive? My Rubicon has it, no switch for it (6spd manual), but I thought that I had remebered the wiring bundle was universal, and the blank related to OD.

I think a lot of it depends on who was working on the Jeep that day at the factory, and how many harnesses they had to get rid of as left overs... honestly.

Having tracked down wiring issues and looked at replacement harnesses I can tell you they are different.

So....I'm jumping way late on this conversation but in reading this post and others I'm concerned with what I may be faced with.

I'm doing a full frame and tub swap. The tub (2005) included the dash with most of the wiring. I have my tub (2000) with a complete harness...but very sketchy. One reason for the swap.

Can I complete the 05 harness with the needed parts from my 00?

Any help would be great.

Should be able to, but you'll have to spend some time in both factory service manuals tho identify the differences.
