If it were me I’d call http://deadjeep.com/… or http://daveysjeeps.com/… its not in production anymore and the only place you’ll problem find one is salvage… don’t give up, I found one on eBay when it broke on my 97 a couple years ago…
I just did this. I bought a used on off eBay but it looks like Summit and others have them. This runs from the drivers side of the engine, to a T into the cabin (where it actuates the hvac internal louvers to direct air) and then down to a small black box below the battery mounted on the fender. That box is called a vacuum reservoir. Someone helped me on this not long ago. You can patch the line if you just have a break. Most auto parts stores sell coupling kits and line. It's akin to fixing PVC pipe.

You can buy the lines by the foot at any auto parts store or Amazon. You can get the connectors on Amazon too.

I carry heat shrink on the trail with epoxy...also a way to temporarily fix a vacuum line. But I'd do as suggested above and buy some hose and Ts and couplers.

AC. When I have the fan direction set to the vents and get on the throttle the air diverts to the floor and defrost. When I let off the throttle the air then blows back thru the vents as it should. Seems to be a vac line so I was inspecting the line and ended up cracking the brittle line myself.
So you have leaks and possibly a check valve issue. You can fix the small lines using 3/32” vacuum hose to repair the brittle parts. If it is damages at the firewall some times you can pull it out with a pair of needle nose plyers, if you cannot access it I use a antenna or welding rod and push a piece of vacuum hose through the grommet and connect it behind the glove box. I will spray the line with carb or brake cleaner and push the rubber hose on this will glue it enough to hold. Here is a quick diagram of how it should be set up. Here is a search of what you can find to make your own. You can use just rubber vacuum hose. Manufactures use the plastic because it is cheap.

I carry some vacuum tees in my spare box, I also carry air line coupler for my locker. If I replace a line I try to make it a little long so I can cut the end if needed down the line. I have found vacuum hoses usually fail at the ends. If you carry one of these tees and a straight coupler you can cut them to the size hose you need.
