Valve cover options

Hi all.

Decided to replace the valve cover gasket and vent grommets, as oil is coming out somewhere. After getting everything off, the cover is looking worse for wear. I could clean it up and paint it, but probably easier to replace it. It seems the Mopar part is discontinued and the only option I've found is the Dorman 264-983. Only a few Amazon reviews and they are bad. Has anyone used this part with success? Are there other options? BTW this is for a 2006 Rubicon 4 L.

What was going on there to wear it out?

My leak was persistent even after replacing old gasket with Felpro.
I ended up taking it out, gave it a soapy wash and coated with Permatex Super 300... Since November not even a wet spot around it.

Not wear, but rust. On the outside and creeping under where the gasket seals.
