Vibrations after lift at around 50mph

Yep. As an interim fix, I think I'm going to try use some washers to drop the TC and see if that helps clear up the vibes. Jeep is my daily when it's raining, and wouldn't ya know - Thunderstorms next week. I could risk the motorcycle, but getting caught in a thunderstorm on a motorcycle is not my idea of fun. Probably going to be investing in a MML and then removing the TC drop. We'll see where that gets me.

If it were mine, I would drop the case about .5-.75 and see where you are. I would not install a mml but instead save your dough for some adjustable lca's and do it the right way. You could do something like the CORE tier 2 arms for 210 from @AOR instead of the JKS blocks at 80 bucks. I run the blocks and they are fine but, if I had at least one set of adjustable ca's I would have invested in a second set.

I dropped the T-case approximately 3/4"-1" - vibes at 50MPH are gone.

Regarding the MML - I'm eventually going to install a MML, a body lift, and a tummy tuck. So a MML will probably happen eventually anyway.

That being said, longer lower rear arms are likely in the books at some point in time just to get the rear pinion angle under control. May go with fixed length and not adjustable, we'll see.

So...options as I see to eliminate the cheapo transfer case drop:

Lo-profile transmission mount and keep stock motor mount
Motor mount lift
Go ahead and get an SYE and new driveshaft.

Any of these options are going to need new lower control arms...so may do that first.

Much better angle. An sye is probably in your future anyway as the tummy tuck is going to need it generally speaking.

Rear LCA ordered...hopefully have them by this weekend. Cancelled the alignment for tomorrow. Will get the new arms in this weekend and get it aligned after. Time to start saving pennies for a SYE + DC shaft.

Core4x4 tier 2 arms arrived today. Cant find any info on recommended side for axle/frame. I'm thinking the adjustable joint side to the axle and rubber bushing to the frame. Angle the arm swings through at the frame seems like it would be less than the angle at the axle.

Thoughts? Seems both ways are used...

Update - new rear lower control arms installed; rear pinion angle much much better. Removed the budget TC drop and much better - no vibes that I can tell. Angles not perfect, but pretty darned close. SYE is on the list, along with a MML, body lift, Tummy tuck, and rocker guards. Not sure which will be first, but the wife is complaining about needing a step..so it may be the rocker guards. Thinking of the JCR Crusaders for the LJ.

Ahh...well caught. Yes, Crusaders. I have a friend that has a set on his XJ and he likes them.

I do have a set, and starting the install this week hopefully. I'm going to get them mounted, and drill a couple extra holes before I paint. I'm not super impressed with the way JCR says to mount them, so I'm going to take a page out of the Savvy book for their sliders and install them a bit differently.
