I'm pretty sure it was an option, yes. Not 100% sure, but I'd be willing to bet on it.

Can't say if it was an option or part of a particular standard trim package, but I have an OEM soft top I picked up last year that has tinted windows.

Thank you. I am going to look at a complete top tomorrow and it has tinted windows. Just wanted to double check. Any designitions or tags or stamps on windows or frame that I can check to be sure it is OEM.

Mine has factory tint.

I have a 05 LJ and I believe mine is an OEM and it is tinted

Earlier models seem to have mostly gotten clear windows, later models got tinted.
