Ok went to work this morning, had it running while I finished my coffee, heat was on. My buddy pulls up says I'm leaking. turn it off, crawl under and its a solid stream of antifreeze. It was coming from the bottom of the harmonic balancer which is right under the water pump. Probably leaked a good gallon or so before it slowed down. Temp gauge was normal and no weird noises. Manged to get home (only live 5 mins from work). Temp did go from cold to 210 by the time I pulled in the driveway. Have fan and shroud off ready to tackle this but I'm second guessing myself where the problem is. I know if antifreeze comes out the weep hole the bearings are likely shot but no grinding or any movement from the "pulley" on the pump. Any other things it could be before I dive into this?? Its wet all around so hard to determine where. Also I did see little pieces of black "something" when I took the rad cap off. Bad impeller maybe?? 2006 TJ 4.0 auto. 126k
