We’re safe, but time to rebuild

As a bonus, this custom hard top was less than 3 weeks old

Last wed, I rolled over on the road. A corner was covered in loose gravel, and I was headed into oncoming semi.

I oversteered, rolled and slid over the yellow and hit the semi anyway, but in the side instead of head on.

Most of the damage and bent frame were caused by the DOT bar on the semi’s wheels.

My local shop has all the body parts, from a black TJ, and the frame straightening begins Thursday.

makes sense. the rock sliders / tires / hard top bore the brunt of the sliding.

Thank you, I have a black grill, hood, and will replace the poison spider fenders. Luckily my local jeep shop (all J) has some body parts.
Going to the hot rod shop tomorrow to get the frame back to spec, and then to all J for the rest of the work.
