Can anyone telll me what these are??
Came in a box of parts, and I can’t quite figure it out...

Look like mud flaps, but I can’t really figure out how

Actually my dad..told me a story of when they had new Royal Naval recruits and they crossed the equator for the first time... everyone would tell them to go and flush the toilet as they cross 'the line' to watch the water change direction right before their eyes hahaha....many would rush down to the heads to watch haha

I would have varnished those doors and told folks it was the ultra-rare Jeep TJ "Woody" model!!! All kidding aside, they look good, actually. Very creative. What did you use to latch 'em shut?

I temporarily wrapped them in vinyl while I decide what colour to go. Varnish is a serious contender, for the insides haha.

Latching system is currently a cable tie on the passenger side, and wind/my arm on the drivers side... going to go the hardware shop this weekend, just need a simple latch, nothing secure about this!

Well, I think they turned out looking great. Way cheaper than OE, that's for sure!

Haha cheers, I’m quite pleased with them. Way way way cheaper when you realise how hard it is to find OE or aftermarket doors here in NZ

I actually really like how light and care free I can be. I drove to the beach with them on (I’m not too keen on police attention while I fix up some of the remaining problems)
And then took em off and just threw in the back.
If the scratch, I’ll just touch up the paint
If I really ruin them, I’ll buy another $10 piece of ply and cut a new one..
