What did you do to / in your garage / shop today?

Record rains have been getting into my garage. I added water dams at each end of the doors. Used an old bucket of Minute Patch Cement I had sitting around. The stuff is Portland cement with fine sand, and maybe other stuff. It sets up in a few minutes.

I went looking for some more of this, and found that Minute Patch went out of business 43 years ago. Hah!
I think Quikrete Quick-Setting Cement is similar stuff.

My regulator just went out after 35 yrs on my Craftsman.

Mines a C/H not sure how old it is, I have owned it since the mid 90's and it was used then. Second motor and now Second pressure switch. I have to say it's paid for itself!!!!

Didn't do anything in the shop today, but hope to run down to harbor freight tomorrow and pick up a bench vice. My old one is on it's last legs. It was my wife's grandfather's. When he passed, I helped clean out the garage, and took the little vice.

I'll probably clean it up and see if I can tap the jaws for new plates, but I need a vice, and fixing that one is likely going to be a fall project.

In the meantime, figured I'd post some food porn. Decided I'd make a nice Sauce Piquaint for dinner tonight.

We can rebuild it.

Very minor, but my compressor has the drain valves and power switch facing one way, and the gauges face a different way. It always bothered me so finally decided to mount the gauges correctly.

My tank gauge has a leak:( I let the compressor run yesterday to build pressure, then left for the day. By the time I got back late evening, the gauge read 0. Turned it back on to build pressure and when the motor is off, there is an obvious leak. I might try both ptfe tape and dope on that one.
