Acupuncture, traction and rigorous physical therapy and you’d never know now all but i won’t work overhead long hours.

Last fall, I had the Jeeps AC system vented so that I could replace the heater core. Today, I had the shop at the end of the street charge up the AC system again. It blows cold air.

Corvette Rally wheels from Wheel Vintiques . Mine are 16x6 with 4 inch back spacing and we had them powder coated red to match the Jeep. They were silver , but I believe they only sell that size in chrome now . We've had them on the Jeep for 11 years .

Finally finally- I know you have been jonesin’ for that.
Changed rear sway bar bushings. Holy smokes, 197k miles destroyed the OEM bushings. I broke one of the axle bolts off so I need to drill and tap it, but not tonight.
Gonna do a ghetto rebuild this weekend since I have lost compression,pistons are bad !
But as of now I'm "matching the weight" of my rods they were all 667-670 grams and I got em to the number of the beast at 666
This wasn't intentional but it's funny to me
Note I deburred the rods since they had pretty sharp edges on the sides and where the wrist pin is at! I'll see if the ones in my current motor are the same ! Which I'm assuming them to be so
Wish me luck y'all I plan on having the jeep running&driving by Monday,but I gotta work on my dad's 4runner replacing the injectors first thing in the morning ! I'm always busy

The result is my pinion & carrier bearings are all now replaced, everything is buttoned up with a quart of oil loaded up to see if we leak overnight. I have a lot of experience with draining brand new oil due to a leak, so no we proceed with caution as a rule.
I think that is the last of the vital stuff to be done to daughter's 97, just in time for the good weather to start driving around. At which point we'll discover 5 new vital things.
