It’s gonna get louder
I figure with the 45 inch glass pack it will be twice as quiet as a 24 inch
It may be quieter than stock ! I put 30" glasspacks (2 1/2 " ) duals on my baby rat (408" BBC " ) and I was shocked that it was like a stock system .
The real question is, what was it stopped up with?

When I shined the light in it, it was gray/white ash.
Just upgraded my dad’s dash speakers with kickers, snagged the pods and they are worth it imo. Also swapped in some nice alpine speakers for the light bar.
Finally got around to installing the hood latch skid plate I snagged from @sunnysideup_lj - highly recommend!

You know the EPA, ethics police are listening right......... the thought might have possibly, maybe, just slightly crossed my mind.
I did that with my 87 YJ and passed smog a few weeks later. I finally replaced it once I had the funds though.
My son and I took off our old rock sliders and put on a new set to freshen up the Frankenjeep a bit. New speaker go in the soundbar Sunday. Kind of spring cleaning for the ‘ol boy.
Ball joints finally all pressed in, despite teething problems. Now the new knuckles are in place as well.

You know it’s funny. I’ve even had some TJ owners that didn’t know exactly what it was.
I’m not going to take credit for anything. I only had the good fortune to get the rig, but I’m gonna say this it has absolutely perfect proportions….. it doesn’t look overdone or over accessorized.
I just can’t find anything that screams that it needs to be changed
Again, I’m not talking smack or anything. It’s not anything that I created. I’m just trying to make sure that I don’t let it get messed up.
1st time out since the install of the armor and BMB brakes. In true Jeep fashion the 1st stop was for gas before hitting up Big O Tire to quote some 35s…
